Which is logical - you have the space, you have the resources, so you fill it (and then consume it).
Negative space used to be a critical element in advertisements. Yes, I did say “used to be.” It’s not that negative space is gone, but it’s not as prevalent.
And people wonder why we’re an obese nation. Are we programmed to fill all the negative space (‘sup, Microsoft packaging)?
